The Daytona 500 is a National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, NASCAR race held each year at the Daytona Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. NASCAR Drivers race for 500 miles around the Daytona oval, the race is also a NASCAR restrictor plate race and is considered the World Cup of the Sprint Cup racing schedule. Cheap Daytona 500 Tickets are generally sold-out a month in advance. The Daytona 500 is the biggest stock car race on the NASCAR schedule, it offers the most rewarding prize money of the season. Race to the Cup Championship points are given in the same way as any other Sprint Cup races, just larger prize purse. This is significantly different than most sports, It’s the first race of the NASCAR Season; most sports feature their Super Bowl at the end of the season rather than the start|beginning}.
